Hello Juan ! Frank is right, a straight handlebar gives more control, but also if you have problems with stiffening hands on longer trips, the straight (and lower) bar is better. If your bike does not have forward controls, and you are over 1,75 meter, I think that is a good investment. It really gives you a more relaxed driving position. But, as Frank pointed out, a bit less control. The original seat on the Savage is really a butt-killer for many of us. I made a new seat, and found that a straighter and thinner seat is better than to sit in a hole, like on the original pillow. But butts are different. You can also try to remove some of the foam from the backpart of the original seat, it is very easy, and after that you can move about a bit more.
